Village Car Park

This site was identified as an area in need of enhancement in the 1998 Community Appraisal. Instow in Bloom has contributed toward this end by building two stone planter/seats adjacent to the bus stop and establishing climbers along the south-facing wall of the car park, the latter funded as part of the successful Key Fund bid in 2001. Sun-loving plants such as Clematis and Passion Flower were chosen for the wall whilst similarly drought resistant, maritime suited plants were used for the planters. The overall aim was for sustained interest yet low maintenance.
